The West Suburban Special Recreation Foundation is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation formed by parents of children with disabilities who are in West Suburban Special Recreation Association programs. The foundation is dedicated to raising funds so that the quality of WSSRA programs can be maintained and additional activities provided.
Foundation members meet 4 times a year.
Fundraising events include the Bowl-a-thon, Derby Gala, Fallin’ for Our Stars, Bears Party and a Holiday Solicitation. These are events not to be missed!
Members select a Committee to dedicate their time to. The Foundation works hand-in-hand with the Association staff, which allows for the opportunity to have input on program offerings as well.
